Delicious and affordable spot for dinner! We tried the chicken pesto pasta and the prosciutto pizza, and we were brought complimentary pesto cheese bread right after we sat down. Waiters were kind and attentive. Highly recommend if you're looking to branch out from Mexican food.
Loved the place, the food and the vibe. A must try if you have an Italian taste. Chris really served us pretty nice. Thanks for the experience
I have traveled to Italy and this in my opinion is better than anything that I ate while I was there. The portions are generous, the staff friendly and attentive, and the food is perfection. I will be back again before I leave Mexico City. I ate at a more expensive Italian restaurant the day before and this one was so much better. The salad was one of the best that I have ever had in my life. The special ordered bread you see pictured was like a small pizza made with olive oil and covered with Parmesan. It is a must have with whatever you order. The coffee is also the best I have had in Mexico City. You will not be disappointed!!!
-Friendly staff — fun to make small talk with and checking in on our food -Convenient location -most importantly, food was great, especially for the price. 1 pizza is more than enough for 1 person, as was the pasta. The pizza was TOPPED with tons of prosciutto, cheese, arugula. -Additionally, I’d say the pizza here was better than any I had in Rome. Fresh ingredients of good quality. Airy and soft (but also still firm to hold all the ingredients together) dough
Chris and his family that runs this place know their comida. They are the GOATs of comida italiana. There’s a photo with everything we ordered, but the provoleta and pizza were the absolute winners para mi. The bolonesa and Paloma pastas are also commendable As they say her in Mexico, ¡muy rico! Context: came here with some buddies from Denver & Houston
ONLY Spent 120 usd on 5 pasta plates, a pizza, aps, and multiple drinks. Genuinely some of the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten and it’s in the heart of Mexico! Staff was amazing, and food was 5stars, Could not recommend more!
Went to dinner here by chance. Everything was delicious! They gave us garlic bread and marinara sauce on the house. We started with the insalta verde with green apples, dried cranberries and blue cheese was fantastic. I had the pasta aglio e olio and my friend had the fettuccine with mushrooms and chicken. The fresh pasta was amazing. We ordered dessert to go and when I mentioned it was my friend’s birthday, the server gave us a couple pieces of his mom’s homemade baklava. the service was great, Christopher was especially friendly and welcoming. The other staff members were also very nice and attentive. Will definitely be saving this spot for future visits! Thank you for a wonderful meal!
Family owned, super friendly. I arrived in CDMX before dinner time, tired, starving and just wanted to grab something to go and pass out. I got the chicken pesto. The owner (I think his name is Jack) was so friendly and offered me a coffee while waiting. We chatted a bit and he introduced me to his daughter who was also the waiter (I’m guessing the wife was back in charge of the kitchen). Really lovely vibe. The presentation in my photo isn’t the best because it’s in a takeout box. Decent taste, and the portion is generous and lasted me 2 meals. Well worth it. Not a place you go for a special occasion but a solid lunch or everyday meal option. I’d go back again to enjoy a proper meal with a glass of wine if I’m not tired all the time from jet lag.
